If you have a reactive dog you probably know the struggle of finding safe places to let them play. Sheila is leash reactive and dog selective in general. We don’t do dog parks and since we’re currently in the city, we don’t have a lot of options for places she can run off leash.
The problem is, she NEEDS to run.
My high-energy girl needs a physical outlet in order to be the best version of herself. Unfortunately, I’m a slow runner and really hold her back. It’s better than nothing but it doesn’t compare to her being able to run full speed or chase her ball.
Enter Sniffspot.
Sniffspot is kind of like the dog version of Airbnb. You can go on the app, find the perfect yard, and rent it out! Depending on your area, most yards are $10 an hour. Some offer pools to swim in, toys to play with, and an open area to run!
We’ve tried a few different ones in our area and they were truly a major score! The owners keep the curtains and blinds closed so if they have a dog they don’t have to see each other. I’m in Arizona so many have pools for Sheila to jump in. They left out a bowl of water and toys. It was so much fun!
Sheila had a blast chasing her ball, swimming, and just sniffing a new place.
